Description

This was an abstract I painted with acrylics and and photos of the Brandenburg Gate on the spur of the moment. Something had triggered my childhood memories and the importance of the Brandenburg Gate, a symbol of freedom for me. I left Berlin to escape from the Sovjet occupation of East Berlin and the wall that divided my family like so many other families.
