Artist's Description

This is a subject dear to my heart, the American Dream is sinking into the ocean. Too many people deny climate change, which is scientifically proven to be a fact. Many people across the world have lost their homes, islands are covered with water and still there is denial, mostly in this country, which is the biggest culprit using fossil fuel and coal. I hope this painting will bring the message home that there is a huge problem we are all facing.

Born in Germany, Barbara Anna Knauf (also known as Anna K.) studied art in Berlin and was also privileged to study Chinese Water Color painting with 90-year old Professor Liu from Shanghai in Sausalito, California. She has studied various art media forms at Lighthouse Ctr of the Arts in Tequesta, Jupiter, Florida and also in Arezzo, Italy. She began exhibiting her Impressionist painting work at the Artist Gallery of Palm Beach, Beyond D�cor, Palm Beach, Lighthouse Ctr. for the Arts in Jupiter, The Village Art Studios, Tequesta and Partners on Design in Tequesta. Barbara is a member of the American Impressionist Society, as well as the Kansas City Artist Coalition. A selection of her oil paintings are now in collections in Germany,...
